I was at the World Vegan Day in Melbourne last year. The weather was hot, I took the kids and the atmosphere was good. You could browse the stalls, learn something new and feel good about the fact that no animals were harmed in the making. I always think you need to be aware of products even if they are Vegan as not all Vegan options are healthy.
This year World Vegan day 2013 is set for Sunday November 10th. The fun starts at 10am and concludes at 5pm. It will be held at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds in Flemington and entry is free.
If you are interested in becoming a vegan or learning more if you are one, then this is a day worth attending.
There are over 90 exhibitors so lots to see and do. You can pack a picnic lunch but you will be more tempted to taste the food there. There are also show bags available if they have not sold out already.
